Cloverfield. If you’re at all like me, you’ve been champing at the bit to find out what the hell this movie is since the first teaser trailer was attached to Transformers (I suppose something interesting had to be attached to it). Those first shots were stunning: the party, and the head of Lady Liberty crashing through the streets of Manhattan, shot by a digital handicam, grabbed me. We waited for a title, but there was none.
